In just a short amount of time two-time Pro Bowl offensive lineman Marcus McNeill, #73 of the San Diego Chargers, has emerged as a force to be reckoned with inside the NFL ranks.
Coming off one of the best seasons in Charger’s history, McNeill continues to go full steam ahead with a commitment to his philanthropic efforts set forth by his foundation, Mack’s Miracles.
The Mack’s Miracles Foundation held their 3rd Annual All-Star Youth Camp in Atlanta this past weekend at Hallford Stadium, hosted by Hot 107.9′s Jazzy McBee.
“My foundation, Mack’s Miracles, seeks to create a world with healthy children that grow into healthy and productive adults” states founder, Marcus McNeill. The purpose of Mack’s Miracles holds a special place in McNeill’s heart as obesity has effected his loved ones and he continues to see first-hand the detriments of unhealthy lifestyle habits. Founded in 2007, Mack’s Miracles – a 501 (c) 3 foundation, has helped more than 1,000 teenage participants through the foundation’s programs and events the Atlanta and San Diego markets. This year the foundation will infiltrate the city of Atlanta with a camp that will truly help fight the war on obesity and create exposure surrounding this community plague.
