Rihanna has signed on to star in her first feature film. Variety announced that “Love The Way You Lie” singer will star in Universal’s Battleship, inspired by the classic game of the same name.
The action-flick, which will be directed by Peter Berg (‘Hancock’), sees Barbados’ Next Top Model joined by ‘True Blood’s’ Alexander Skarsgård and Taylor Kitcsh, who play brothers spearheading the fight for the planet’s survival against an otherworldly force.
Rihanna has seven No. 1 singles since debuting in 2005.
