The pot of water has boiled over for rapper DMX as records show that he is in a $1.5 million tax debt.

Providing details to all of the payments, documents show that the rapper owes taxes for state and federal and these issues have spanned all the way back to 2005.

X has been hit by all sides as the IRS filed a $370,460 lien against the rapper and his wife on Sept. 20, 2005, in New York and the New York State Tax Commission filed a $44,357 tax warrant against the rapper and his wife on March 6, 2006.

Records also reveal that The Dark Man was hit by his own nesting grounds as the state of New York filed a $8,343 tax warrant against the rapper and his wife on Feb. 15, 2007, in the New York County Clerk’s office.

The numbers continue to rack up as the IRS filed a $663,554 lien against DMX on Sept. 10, 2007, in the Maricopa County (Ariz.) Recorder’s office. According to the lien, he owes income taxes from 2002, 2003 and 2005.  They also filed a $442,869 lien against DMX and his wife on Jan. 2 in the New York City Register’s office.

His ongoing tax problems provide some clarity to his recent announcement of participating in a Mixed Martial Arts bout.  Although he has since pulled out the race, the rapper was ready to go toe-to-toe and even showed some signs of being cocky.  Lucky enough for him the bout was cancelled as he was under the belief that it would strictly be a boxing match.
