The storm is not over yet for T.I.

The Atlanta rapper’s lawyer told the Associated Press that the Federal Bureau of Prisons moved T.I. from the Atlanta halfway house he had arrived at yesterday to a different location.

The Federal Bureau of Prisons website shows that location to be the Atlanta Federal Prison.

Tip’s lawyer said the rapper was back in federal custody due to a flap over his use of a luxury bus to report to a halfway house. As we reported yesterday, T.I. arrived from an Arkansas prison to an Atlanta halfway house in a luxury bus with an entourage in tow. Tip’s lawyer didn’t say exactly what the flap was but said he is working to resolve the problem.

While nothing has been confirmed yet, we’re hearing that after being released from prison, there’s a certain amount of money that can be spent on transportation, and T.I. exceeded that amount. We’ve also heard that the people who pick you up from prison must be on an approved visitor list and some people in Tip’s entourage may not have been on that list.

Following his release from prison in Arkansas, T.I. tweeted:

“The storm is over & da sun back out. IT’S OUR TIME TO SHINE SHAWTY!!!!! Welcome to the beginning of our Happy Ending!!!!”
