NFL Hall of FamerDeion Sanders called into our sister station Majic 107.5 / 97.5 today and spoke to Carol Blackmon, one day after a judge ordered the former Falcon to pay $10,550 a month in child support and $3,500 a month for the Texas mansion where his estranged wife Pilar lives.

The judge also ordered Prime Time to pay $275,000 for Pilar’s legal fees, which Deion told Carol he takes serious issue with.

“It’s a lot to this saga,” said Deion. “How can you accumulate $275,000 in fees since the 23rd of this month? That’s impossible.”

Reiterating his past statements that he is not an abuser, Deion stated that he believes the court battle is about money, even saying that Pilar “cleaned him out” of his belongings when he was out of town twice.

“I think I was prophetic in 1994 when I had the song called Must Be the Money, and that’s really what it is,” Deion added. “We’re not hearing about no abuse, we’re not hearing about the concern for the kids. We’re in court about some money. This woman is in court with me about some money.”

After talking about his drama with Pilar, Deion discussed his upcoming Truth Atlanta program, as well as his plan to help feed children this summer through his Feed Me Prime initiative.
