2 Chainz was arrested at New York’s LaGuardia Airport this afternoon after police say he was carrying brass knuckles in his carry-on bag, TMZ reports.
Hopefully it’s a misunderstanding or he must have forgot he had it in his bag.
The ATL rapper (born Tauheed Epps aka Tity Boi) was entering the Delta terminal to fly to a show in North Carolina when the TSA discovered brass knuckles in his bag.
Police were called to the scene and 2 Chainz was taken into custody for misdemeanor possession of a criminal weapon. 2 Chainz is still in police custody. A rep for the rapper told TMZ that his team is “handling the situation.”
2 Chainz was in Hot 107.9’s studio recently wearing a pair of brass knuckles as jewelry, but we’re not sure if these are the same brass knuckles he was arrested for.
