The Pretty Academy Ambassadors

Is your young lady interested in the Fashion Industry?  The Atlanta Fashion Network is accepting applications for young ladies, 8 to 18 to belong to the metro area’s first community organization for girls wanting to design fashions, model, become a stylist or a retail buyer.

Spaces limited, so apply today. To join, write a short essay of 50 words or less, answering the question “What do you want to do in the fashion industry and why?” Email your essay to atlantafashionweek@gmail.com by the June 15th deadline.

Impact Summer Fun Camp 2012

Do your kids like variety? Enroll them in the Impact Summer Fun Camp so they can enjoy indoor and outdoor activities, arts and crafts, field trips, video games, math and reading. Kids 5 to 12 years can enroll.

Eagles Soar Performing Arts Theatre Program

Does your children show promise in acting, singing or dancing? Then, enroll them in the Eagles Soar Performing Arts Summer Program to learn and tune their performance skills. They’ll learn film and TV basics, stage basics, audition skills and dance. Children ages 6 to 17 will be groomed for professional auditions and have an opportunity to audition in the theatrical production, “Children of Purpose.”

Cindy Chenier Cares Camp

This is a wonderful opportunity for foster children only. The Cindy Chenier Cares Foundation is sponsoring a free camp for foster children ages 6 to 12 can enjoy loads of exciting sports activities including basketball, soccer, volleyball, skating, golf, tennis, art and music and field trips.  If you’re a parent or an agency caring for foster children, please call to find out which of three locations is nearest you.

Dekalb County’s Camp Superstars

Your children will experience a variety of exciting activities including field trips, swim lessons, arts and crafts, fun with nature, sports, health and wellness clinics, team games and more.  Kids ages 5 to 15 can register. Camp Superstars has been moved to Clifton Elementary School, 3132 Clifton Church Rd. SE, Atlanta, GA 30316.

Camp Info: Monday – Friday 7 am until 6 pm. Camp begins June 4th until August 3rd . $55 weekly.  Registration required at www.dekalbcountyga.gov/parks.

Camp Rise Summer Camp

Help promote girl power by enrolling your young lady in this summer’s Camp Rise. They’ll be exposed to athletic and fitness activities to encourage a healthier lifestyle.

Lessons in nutrition, diet and health will also be featured. Girls ages 7 to 18 are encouraged to come jump rope, race, hula hoop, dance, exercise and much more at English Park, 1340 Bolton Road, Atlanta, GA 30318

Dudley’s “Born to Lead” Youth Leadership Camp

Our society has two kinds of people, those who lead and those who follow. Encourage you kids to become the leaders of tomorrow by enrolling them into the Youth Entrepreneur Program at Dudley’s Academy.
