When it rains it pours for Terrell Owens.

Just weeks after being cut from indoor arena football team the Allen Wranglers, now comes word an Atlanta woman is asking a court to hold the disgraced former NFL star in contempt for failure to pay child support.

In a petition filed Wednesday in Fulton County Superior Court, one of T.O.’s baby mamas, Melanie Smith, claims Owens has failed to make court-ordered payments for December, January, February, April, May and June, a total of $30,000.

T.O. was ordered in 2007 to pay Smith $5,000 a month in child support for their daughter, one of four children he has with four different women. In her petition, Smith also alleges that Owens sent her several taunting text messages. Smith is also asking the court to order Owens to pay her attorneys fees and “exercise [the court’s] contempt powers to fine and/or jail” Owens.

A hearing is scheduled for July 12. Smith and Owens have been fighting over child support for years.
