Love & Hip Hop Atlanta creator Mona Scott-Young was on the Rickey Smiley Morning Show today and got into a heated discussion with Rickey over whether or not the show promotes stereotypes about African-Americans and black women in particular.

Young defended the show by saying it’s just one representation of life that is  also meant to be entertainment. She also talked about working with Missy for the past 16 years and Missy’s upcoming new album.
