Although his popularity is resurging, things still aren’t all good for rapper turned Love & Hip Hop Atlanta reality star Lil Scrappy. The ATL rapper was recently thrown out of a hotel and it actually had nothing to do with him or his behavior. This time it was all a shady concert promoter’s fault.
As the story goes, Scrap was scheduled to perform at Club Vizion in Louisville, Kentucky last Sunday. He showed up to the venue on time and ready to hop on stage. However, the concert promoter informed him at the door that he didn’t have any money to pay Scrappy. Naturally, the self-appointed Prince of the South refused to perform if he wasn’t getting paid.
Since the crowd was there and beginning to get restless, the club owner stepped in and offered Scrappy a small piece of money to do a meet-and-greet instead of a full performance. Scrappy agreed and things went off without a hitch. That is until he returned to his hotel room. When Scrappy got back to his hotel, employees informed him his room hadn’t been paid for and he was to leave immediately. Scrappy’s hotel room was supposed to be paid for by the concert promoter. The hotel had the police called to help expedite Scrappy’s exit from the hotel, but he left voluntarily.
In spite of everything that transpired, Lil Scrappy doesn’t plan to sue the concert promoter for the lost wages. he says he doesn’t plan on working with that concert promoter ever again. when contacted about the incident, the concert promoter had nothing to say except, “No comment.”
