Children and parents by the hundreds came out on Halloween to experience CANDY MANIA at Riverdale Centre. The event was put on by The City of Riverdale, Spyda World Foundation, Fast Cash Taxes and Positive American Youth. Hot 107.9’s Reec and Spyda (formerly of And 1) kept the candy induced crowd pumped up in between all of the festivities including a hit performance by youth hip hop artist DJ DJ. In addition to the 50,000 pieces of candy given away, several kids walked away with bikes, tricycles, toys and even brand new tablets! This was an awesome event filled with a sea of smiling faces.
