"Extant" - Los Angeles Premiere

There hasn’t been any official announcement about the fate of “Basketball Wives,” but Tami Roman may have hinted that the show is officially over.

Season 5 of the show came to a very abrupt end as Suzie Ketchum decided that it was her time to turn up and show out. After just 10 episodes, “Basketball Wives” was completely done for the season. There wasn’t even a reunion

Nine months after the show unceremoniously wrapped up season 5, a fan asked Tami if that was really the end of VH1’s controversial hit series. Tami implied that if the show does return it would be rebounding from an unoffcial cancellation.

These days, Tami may a little bit more concerned with her acting career since she’s currently starring alongside Halle Berry on the CBS drama “Extant.” She’s only made two appearances on the show so far, but joining such a high-profile cast in a Steven Spielberg production speaks volumes about her level of talent.

If the show is returning, it’s less likely that she would come back too.

Earlier this year, there was speculation that filming for another cycle of “Basketball Wives” would soon be underway because Shaunie O’Neal and Evelyn Lozada tweeted that they couldnt’ wait to see each other. However, VH1 hasn’t made any official announcement of plans for season 6 at this time.
