Last night on The O’Reilly Factor, Jon Stewart took Bill O’Reilly to task about his objections towards rapper Common’s visit to the White House.

Stewart told O’Reilly that even Bono wrote a song about Native American activist Leonard Peltier and that Bob Dylan wrote a song about Rubin “Hurricane” Carter (portrayed by Denzel Washington in the movie “Hurricane”), who was also convicted of murder. Both artists have been invited to the White House. (Watch Common’s performance HERE.)

“You have a lot of people who can’t go to the White House because they’ve written songs about people convicted of Murder”–Jon Stewart.
