I’m sure lots of folks would agree that we have Denver Broncos QB, Tim Tebow to thank for the heightened awareness of spirituality in football. Well, add NY Giants Defensive Tackle, Chris Canty to the list of “believers.” His previous injuries had his status to play in the Super Bowl questionable but the DL insists he has been “healed.”
Chris Canty said:
“We understand that God gave us these tremendous talents and abilities to glorify his name on the biggest stage of sports in the world. We have an opportunity to perform at a high level and give God all the glory to bless us with that platform. I’m tremendously honored, and I feel blessed to have the pastor pray for me.”
