Nicki Minaj has never shied away from talking about her rough childhood growing up in Jamaica, Queens, NY. She revealed even more intimate details about her childhood on a recent episode of “Nightline.”

“My father was abusive,” Nicki revealed. “We were afraid for [my mother’s] life because whenever he would have a real bad outburst, he would threaten to kill her”

The Pink Friday star added: “I wanted to kill him. I wished he was dead.”

On a lighter note, Nicki apologized to her fans for the unforgettable nip slip on “Good Morning America.”

“I’m so sorry about that,” she told host Juju Chang. “People are ridiculous if they think I would use that as a stunt. I would never, ever, ever—swear to God—do something like that on purpose. That’s ridiculous. I would never do that.”
