Jay-Z headlined the “Made In America” press conference Monday afternoon on the Art Museum steps in Philadelphia and discussed the city’s upcoming two-day festival, which will be headlined by Hov himself.

Jay-Z plans to push the culture forward with good music and good vibes. The show will be produced by Live Nation and promises to bring as many as 28 acts to Philly’s Fairmont Park on September 1st and 2nd.

Jay-Z also shouted out Freeway, one of his early members of the Roc-A-Fella team, as well as the other great artists that he represented almost a decade ago. We aren’t sure of the acts yet, but Jay has confirmed that 70% of the acts are on board with the project. He also talked a little about a movie project involving Will Smith and Will’s Philly alma mater, Overbrook High School. Check out the video below as Jay-Z explains his mindset behind the Made in America festival.
