Last week, news broke that 3 Basketball Wives cast members would be losing their jobs. Shaunie O’Neal is branded as the woman who created the “monster” we know as Basketball Wives but she insists that she found out the firings like everyone else did, online.
According to TMZ, Shaunie O’Neal is denying involvement in the removal of Jennifer Williams, Keisha Nichols, and Royce Reed from the show. Word is, the distance between Shaunie O’Neal and her production partners has grown ever since she went public about her disdain for the direction of the show and its negative portrayal of black women.
TMZ is also reporting that Shaunie is willing to walk away from the show if it turns into something she no longer believes in.

30. If there’s ever been a standout creative and executive that I’ve patterned my trajectory after, it’s @iamdiddy. There’s absolutely nothing about the maestro, mogul and, sometimes, magician that’s not inspiring. Watching him lead his label through the soundtrack of my life last night was a moment one several levels. I experienced it at the right time in the right place. It fully birthed the new beast I’ve been incubating. It was a hell of a show. Thanks @iamdiddy. 🙌🏾
