Is American Idol Recruiting Sean “Diddy” Combs?

With the departure of 2 judges and the sharp decline in ratings over the years, American Idol is working hard to get people excited about the show again. Producers recently announced the addition of Mariah Carey and now rumor has it that Sean “Diddy” Combs may sit in the judge’s seat.

Could Sean “Diddy” Combs be a judge on “American Idol?” We hear producers at the Fox show have reached out to the Bad Boy Records founder and rap mogul. “Idol” has an open seat on its judging panel after Steven Tyler opted to leave the show (it recently hired Mariah Carey to replace Jennifer Lopez). Fox had no comment, nor did Combs’ rep. We hear Combs will host a party at a private villa in Ibiza this week. Hamptonites still talk of Combs’ epic “white parties” from summers past.
