Nicki Minaj had the internet buzzing when she seemingly endorsed Republican Presidential candidate, Mitt Romney. Last week, Lil Wayne released his mixtape Dedication 4 and in her verse on ‘Mercy’ Nicki spits,
“I’m a republican voting for Mitt Romney, you lazy b*tches are f*cking up the economy”.
Some said the lyrics were simply sarcasm while others took them literally, saying that Nicki was endorsing Mitt Romney. President Obama recently shared his opinion of Nicki’s lyrics saying that he didn’t think she was being serious. Nicki took to her twitter account to confirm the President’s interpretations were correct.
