It looks like Atlanta Falcons running back Michael Turner may have been celebrating a bit too much last night after his team beat the Denver Broncos at the Georgia Dome.

Turner, 30, was booked in the Gwinnett County Jail just after 5a.m., charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and speeding. The Falcons running back, who lives in Suwanee, was released about two hours later on $2,179 bond, according to jail records, the AJC reports.

Turner was reportedly stopped going 97 mph in a 65 mph zone on I-85 northbound near Indian Trail Road just after 4 a.m.

The Falcons released the following statement about the incident:

“We are aware of the situation involving Michael and are in the process of gathering more information. Because this is now a legal matter, the club will have no further comment at this time.”

Although Turner’s production has been down a bit this season, he scored his 51st touchdown as a Falcon at Monday night’s game, setting a franchise record.
