Gunplay Fights 50 Cent’s Crew, Gets Maced & Explains Brawl [VIDEO]

Rick Ross and Young Jeezy weren’t the only rappers involved in a brawl this weekend at the BET Hip Hop Awards. Ross’ protege Gunplay also got into a scuffle with members of 50 Cent’s entourage. 50 Cent has had beef with Rick Ross in the past.

Gunplay told Power 105′s Breakfast Club that he was separated from his crew by security guards in the Atlanta Civic Center parking lot when he ran into 50 Cent and his own security guards, at which point all hell broke loose. Gunplay was pepper sprayed by police and later arrested.

BET issued a statement about the fights:

“BET Networks works very hard to bring the best in entertainment to the city of Atlanta. For the past 7 years BET has celebrated the true art form of Hip Hop. Due to some misjudgment of select attendees, it is unfortunate that certain incidents took place. BET Networks does not condone any type of violence. Local authorities are working to resolve the situation as quickly as possible.”
