Nicki Minaj has returned with another single off her sophomore album made for the Selena Gomez set. “Va Va Voom” continues in the vein of “Super Bass“ and “Starships“ in its reach for commercial success. While Minaj’s debut Pink Friday had a good mix of street and commercial records, it seems the sequel is decidedly more for Z-100 than HOT97. Case in point, E! News network premiered the “Va Va Voom” video (?!). Come back to the hood a lil’ bit, Nicki.
