Alicia Keys graces the cover of the latest Jet magazine and has a few words to her haters who consider her a home wrecker. The “Girl On Fire” singer had to deal with critics who blamed her for breaking up now husband Swizz Beatz’ marriage to singer Mashonda.

Alicia has kept her head high and chose not to address the situation until this interview when she told the mag, “there’s no need to fight what’s not true.”

Here are a few highlights from the interview:

“…[They] were apart for some time before we ever got together…that doesn’t matter to those who take pleasure in trying to knock others down…there’s no need to fight what’s not true…”

“I’d never met a person where I could be fully myself…Swizz and I live in each other’s shadow. So we can occupy the same space and there is nothing but equality. There’s something really powerful about that.”
