Get ready y’all, cause T-Pain and Lil Wayne are bringing back Freaknik!
Lil Wayne will portray Jesus in T-Pain’s upcoming Cartoon Network special based around Freaknik, the wild black college spring break that took place in Atlanta in the 1990s. Ozone Magazine writer Julia Beverly reports that Weezy will provide the voice of Jesus in the special and will do a rap called “Ghetto Commandments.”
T-Pain’s “Freaknik” will premier on Cartoon Networ’s Adult Swim in March. Joining Weezy and T-Pain on the show are Andy Samberg of “Saturday Night Live,” Rick Ross and David Banner.
