The Atlanta man charged in the death of Usher’s 11-year-old stepson has pleaded not guilty.

As we previously reported, Kile Glover was critically-injured on a jet ski at Lake Lanier last summer. The tragic accident left Glover brain dead and his mother, Usher’s ex-wife Tameka Foster Raymond, eventually made the heart wrenching decision to take her son off life support on July 21.

According to the AJC, Jeffrey Simon Hubbard pleaded not guilty to all charges, including first-degree homicide by vessel. Authorities say Kile and his father, Ryan Glover, were vacationing at Lake Lanier when Hubbard crashed a personal watercraft into the boy’s raft on July 6.

Hubbard also pleaded not guilty to charges of reckless operation of a vessel, unlawful operation of a personal watercraft, boat traffic violation and serious injury by vessel.
