Gucci Mane has pleaded not guilty to an assault charge stemming from an incident where he allegedly struck a soldier over the head with a champagne bottle at Atlanta’s Harlem Nights club on March 16. The ATL rapper was charged with aggravated assault with a weapon.
James Lettley of Fort Hood, Texas, who serves in the military, told police the rapper struck him in the V.I.P. area at Harlem Nights. Lettley said he was in Atlanta for his birthday and wanted to take a picture with Gucci when he was attacked.
Gucci is currently out on bond.
