A Buckhead jeweler popular with rappers and the hip hop industry is suing Soulja Boy for more than $60,000, claiming the ATL rapper has not paid an outstanding debt. Icebox Custom Jewelry say they haven’t heard from Soulja Boy in over a year.
Icebox filed the suit this week in Fulton County State Court. Soulja Boy (real name DeAndre Way) and his company, Soulja Boy Tellem Music Inc., are named in the suit. According to WSB-TV, Icebox, which is located on Peachtree Road a few blocks from Lenox Square Mall, said Soulja Boy bought several pieces of jewelry for $45,144 in October 2011, and later that same year purchased more jewelry, He also reportedly requested several repairs at a total cost of $15,726.
