R&B singer/songwriter Ne-Yo is celebrating his birthday today! The Atlanta transplant turns 31 today.
Ne-Yo (born Shaffer Chimere Smith) was born in Arkansas and grew up in Las Vegas, but he has called Atlanta home for the past several years.
Ne-Yo has had lots of success in his own 9-year career and penning songs for artists like Rihanna, Keri Hilson and Mario. Most recently he wrote a new song for TLC, “Meant to Be,” which can be found on their just-released greatest hits album
