For the last 6 years the non profit organization  Positive American Youth A.K.A. PAYUSA has setup shop at Atlanta Metropolitan State College to put on a huge community event and all around day of fun for participants of all ages! This year was no different. Thanks to a Title Sponsorship by Morgan & Morgan Law, Aaron’s of Mableton, PAYUSA was able to make the entire day absolutely free to the public, including the star powered celebrity basketball game that concluded the event.

PAYUSA’s 6th Annual PAYDAY began with a basketball camp for youth aged 4 to 16 hosted by Coach Robert Pritchett, and AMSC men’s and women’s varsity basketball team. Next Soccer World facilitated a youth soccer camp. Hundreds of the camp participants were treated to a complimentary lunch courtesy of Pizza Hut.  These participants also received gifts and goodies, including strap bags, courtesy of Morgan & Morgan Law, PAYUSA, ECS Financial Networks Reec and Better Homes and Healthcare. Other vendors (Amerigroup, Team Eagle one, Point 3 Hoops, who also provided the Celebrity game uniforms, and Last Shot Recovery Drink provided door prizes and gifts .

The event climaxed with Hot 107.9’s Reec, Mz. Shyneka and The Fleet DJs hyping the crowd for the celebrity basketball game!  Celebrity Coaches included Yung Joc, Johnnie Cabbell, Karlie Redd, Carol Blackmon and Deb Antney.  Players included A1 The Super Group, Roscoe Dash, DJDJ, SPYDA (formely of And1 / Spyda World Foundation), DJ Fadelf, EDUBB, Mykko Montana, LA Da Boom Man, YDB (ODB’s Son) Young Booke (Grand Hustle), Parlae, Shaad, DJ Rickey Moss and personalities from Be100. A half time show was put on by Flip City South, world classed youth gymnastics performance team.  By games end the Hot 107.9 Hotshots had the higher score but the true winners where the event spectators and participants that joined PAYUSA for this action packed day.
