A member of ATL-based rap trio Migos was shot in the leg early Friday morning (March 28) during a shootout on the I-95 highway as the group was heading back to their South Beach hotel.
The Migos were scheduled to play a nightclub called Cafe Iguana in Pembroke Pines, Florida, but the show was canceled after some type of disagreement with management. Rather than staying at the venue, the Migos left for their hotel in a Mercedes van. According to Florida Highway Patrol, the van was heading south on I-95 around 3:30 a.m. with eight people in it when a black vehicle pulled alongside and opened fire. Someone in the Migos van reportedly returned fire.
The only person hit was one of the Migos, but its unclear who that member is. At least 12 shots were reportedly fired during the altercation. Police are still looking for whoever fired the weapon at the Migos.
