Rapper/media mogul Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson is really saturating the game with his products right now. After reuniting his old crew G-Unit and dropping a new album, 50 is putting on his producer hat and has signed on to executive produce a film about notorious Atlanta drug cartel BMF.

The entertainment jack-of-all-trades announced his involvement in the film by posting a photo on Instagram. When 50 posted the photo, he captioned it, “I’m out of control now, watch my next move. STRATEGY #smsaudio #animalambition #power.” 50 Cent will be working with Cheeta Vision Productions to bring the film to life.

The news of 50 Cent stepping into an executive producer role shouldn’t be a surprise to anybody. He’s currently experiencing success with the positive debut of the Starz drama “Power” of which he also serves as executive producer. That show stars Omari Hardwick as a drug kingpin who is caught between the street life and wanting to go legit.

We can’t to see this film about BMF. Plenty of people have tried to do a film about the drug cartel, but things have never panned out. Maybe with 50 behind it, the film will actually get made.
