Being funny is not enough to excuse anyone from accusations of sexual assault–not even if you’re Bill Cosby.

During a recent standup set in Bill’s hometown of Philadelphia, comedian Hannibal Buress reminded the audience that America’s favorite dad does not have any moral high-ground to stand on when he criticizes

“Thirteen? And it’s even worse because Bill Cosby has the f*cking smuggest old black man public persona that I hate,” Hannibal told the audience.

“‘Pull your pants up, black people. I was on TV in the ’80s. I can talk down to you because I had a successful sitcom.’ Yeah, but you raped women, Bill Cosby,” He continued, mocking the esteemed comedian. “Brings you down a couple notches.”

And just so no one missed the fact that he called Bill out for rape accusations, he repeated himself.

“‘I don’t curse on stage.’ Well, yeah, you’re a rapist, so, I’ll take you sayin’ lots of m*ther*ckers on ‘Bill Cosby: Himself’ if you weren’t a rapist,” Hannibal continued, adding that he wants people to keep this in mind when they flip to an episodes of “The Cosby Show” from now on. “I want to just at least make it weird for you to watch Cosby Show reruns.”

This is not the fist time that Hannibal has thrown out this fact during a routine, so this wasn’t a special part of his act that he cooked up just for the Philadelphia crowd.

“I’ve done this bit on stage, and people don’t believe. People think I’m making it up,” he said, suggesting that people do a little research if they doubt the validity of his claims. “That sh*t is upsetting. If you didn’t know about it, trust me. You leave here and google ‘Bill Cosby rape.’ It’s not funny. That sh*t has more results than Hannibal Buress.”
