US-MUSIC-GRAMMY AWARDS-SHOW

He prefers to call them ‘motivational speeches,’ but Kanye West’s rants are the stuff of legend. After a mostly subdued appearance at the GRAMMY Awards—complete with a joking reenactment of his 2009 Taylor Swift interruption—West went off during the E! GRAMMY after party with some opinionated remarks.

The first target was the Album of the Year award winner, Beck.

‘Beck needs to respect artistry, and he should’ve given his award to Beyonce,’ West said. ‘If the GRAMMYs want real artists to keep coming back, they need to stop playing with us. We ain’t fixing to play with them no more.’

West also sounded off on Sam Smith (he’s a fan), and his wife and in-laws.

The Kardashians should have a percentage of E!,” he added. ‘Who designed these mics? I took the ‘E’ off.’

West also said he was ‘fighting for creativity’ and the Kardashians television presence is proof that society values beauty. The remarks come one day after West slammed Nike during a rant at Big Sean’s show in West Hollywood. You can view a Vine clip of the statements below.
