Kim Kardashian might have gotten some of the most scandalous headlines this year thanks to posing nude, but on her latest cover, the reality star sports a different look. Kardashian actually sports a black latex dress for AdWeek, and she even shares some knowledge about how her selfie game has evolved through the years.
“[I took] my first selfie in 1984, and that opens up the book,” she said, speaking about her upcoming book of selfies. “For a decade, I’ve carried a big digital camera, and I think it’s just fascinating to see the process of what types of photos evolve. Mine started off on digital cameras, then they went to a BlackBerry and then a smartphone. There’s just such an evolution of the selfie. And I captured that, I think, really well.”

And while she may be clowned for her selfies from time to time, Kardashian says she has a sense of humor about it, as shown in her T-Mobile Super Bowl ad.
“So many people think that taking so many selfies is just ridiculous,” she said. “For me, what’s so funny is I love taking pictures and posting them on social media for memories. I genuinely love the glam of life and hair and makeup and all of that, so I love just sharing my life with people—that’s who I’ve been. I live my life on a reality show. But sometimes people take it very seriously, or they think it’s ridiculous. I’m kind of letting them know, yes, it is ridiculous, but it’s all fun.”
Here’s a look at her cover and another shot for AdWeek.
