There comes a time when every celebrity has to give up their crown to someone younger and seemingly cooler. But who would have thought Kim Kardashian would be usurped by her youngest sister Kylie Jenner?
In 2015, we saw Kim focus more on being a wife and mom, while Kylie celebrated the entire year as if it were her birthday. Even Kim herself admits Kylie may have taken her crown. While filming a vlog for Kylie’s website, the star who broke the internet addressed the fact that her baby sis has the most followers out of all the sisters. She asked Kylie, “How do you feel now that you have dethroned me?”
Kylie smiled slyly, refusing to comment. Kim continued:
“I love it, like, I love it. I need some time off. I mean honey, let’s be real, you’ve got to put in a few more years before you actually dethrone me. But I give my baton to you. Who better to pass on knowledge to my baby sister, rather than a random non-family member.”
Kim insisted that she loves Kylie’s newfound popularity, adding:
“You guys, this is amazing. I give Kylie all my tricks, I give her all my tips. I give her everything, and more. She is so, like, deserving. If I would want anyone to follow in my footsteps, anyone to borrow my clothes, anyone to like share my glam team it is Kylie, King Kylie.”
But big sister Kim didn’t shy away from asking the littlest Jenner some personal questions. She asked what most King Kylie fans wanted to know: why did Tyga call her his fiancée on Snapchat?
Kylie replied:
“He was making fun of an Instagram he posted 30 minutes before. He knew there was this guy who was on Instagram who was like, ‘I don’t like nobody. I just play with my fiancée and my little dog.”
With Kim Kardashian “passing her baton” to Kylie Jenner, this just means the Kardashian reign will not let up.
