HOTSPOTATL.com – Jas Prince, heir to the Rap-A-Lot throne and the guy ultimately responsible for discovering Drake, has reportedly accepted a settlement offered after he accused Cash Money Records of not paying him, the previously agreed 22% of Drake’s advances, net profits and other royalties.

Prince originally filed his lawsuit against Cash Money last year and was only suing for $4M for a breach of contract. But as time progressed, Cash Money refused to pay Prince citing they only did a deal with Aspire Music Group and not Prince.

To make matters worse, his business partner  Cortez Bryant (who’s also Lil Wayne’s manager) did not want to jeopardize his relationship with Cash Money/Young Money therefore, he made little efforts in making sure his business partner Prince was being paid. Both Bryant and Prince hold ownership of Aspire Music Group.

Earlier this month, Jas took matters into his own hands. He hired a temporary receiver to act on his behalf and sue Cash Money for $11M.

Last week Prince filed federal documents that a settlement has been reached by one of the two stakeholders at Aspire and expects to reach a deal soon.

Get your coins Jas! Although this is all messy, it looks like a little persistence can really pay off!
