Rapper T.I. is the owner of the popular Atlanta restaurant, Scales 925 which is known to bring out a high caliber of celebrities, artists and athletes. Over the weekend, former Washington Wizards player, Glen Rice Jr., was shot in the leg when an altercation with five other men began inside of the restaurant and continued into the parking lot.

According to TMZ, once the fight broke out and Glen was injured, he fled from the scene and attempted to throw away a gun, all of which was caught on area cameras. The get away car was a Porsche driven by his friend, Steven Pryor who was caught in a similar situation with Glen in 2012.

In the previous incident, Glen was still a student at Georgia Tech University. He and Steven were leaving Halo Lounge when shots were fired and the police were called. Steven said the gun accidentally went off. He was charged with discharge of a firearm while under the influence.

Glen was also charged with permitting unlawful operation of a vehicle. As a result he was kicked off the Georgia Tech basketball team. On the 2012 incident, his father, famed NBA Champion, Glen Rice Sr. said, “It takes that sometimes to snap them out of that wrong road they’re taking. Now that it did happen, you thank God that, OK, he was able to realize that.”

Hopefully this particular incident will help Jr. get on the straight and narrow. For his most recent altercation, he’s been charged with reckless conduct. When cops searched the Porshe, they also found nearly 300 grams of weed and Glen was also charge with possession of marijuana.
