The combines took place recently and players were asked some tough questions. Which was expected, but what wasn’t expected were questions about ones sexuality. Former Ohio State player Eli Apple claims during the combines he was asked by Falcons coach Marquand Manuel if he was gay. Apple said he originally thought it was a joke but still felt uncomfortable with the question.
“The Falcon coach, one of the coaches, was like, ‘So do you like men?’” Apple said. “It was like the first thing he asked me. It was weird. I was like, ‘no.’ He was like, if you’re going to come to Atlanta, sometimes that’s how it is around here, you’re going to have to get used to it.’ I guess he was joking but they just asked most of these questions to see how you’re going to react “
