Fashion rules are yours to make. Not wearing white after Labor Day is so passe. All white is beautiful, don’t wait for your wedding, wear it to an event to stand out. Just maybe stick to white wine instead! So many of our favorite celebrity beauties donned this look in various ways, creating an ethereal look.

Yara Shahidi played with a Clara Rotescu ball gown with menswear accents. The button up and collar top juxtaposed nicely against the white with gold accents. It’s great to see this young Hollywood star making some regal style statements.

GOLD FEVER

It was a gold rush at the Emmy’s! Maybe the stars were influenced by all the USA gold medal wins in Rio, but this metallic hue dominated the red carpet. You can go for gold embellishments like Laverne Cox for major glam or play it down with a matted tone like Sofia Vergara. We love the goddess style that Claire Danes is rocking. Metallics are year-round so wear the gown this month and then bust it out again around the holidays.

BOLD BRIGHTS

You think that bright colors can only be worn in the summer? Don’t fall into Fall fashion faux pas lies and put away your brights! Both Taraji P. Henson and Angela Bassett chose yellow for some bold style. While most people choose reds or even jewel tone blues, yellow is always a winner. This bright hue looks best on darker skin tone women, who can wear the color in any shade. If you are lighter, opt for it in a bold bright or in a pattern.

Also, can we please point out Taraji’s personalized metallic clutch? So cute! Yellow with gold accents is so refreshing and the perfect transition into Fall.
