Another day, another mass shooting.

On Friday night, a gunman killed five people in a shooting at a mall in Washington state. According to NBC News, the suspect, who is believed to be Latino and in this 20s or 30s, opened fire at in a Macy’s store at Cascade Mall in Burlington, Washington. Police later found four women dead an injured man that suffered critical injuries but later passed away.

The authorities believe the shooting took place at around 7pm and later released this blurry picture of the suspect, who just walked out of the store after the shooting. He is still at large.

While the police believe the he was working alone, they are unsure what his motive was, but believe that the shooting wasn’t terror-related, NBC noted.

We have very little information right now,” said Washington State Trooper spokeswoman Heather Axtman. We’re still trying to gather as many witnesses as we can to get more information.

The FBI has been brought in to help investigate and the police are warning residents to stay inside their homes, while they search for the suspect.

We’re doing everything we can to find this person. Stay vigilant. If you see something, just like they say, say something,” said State Patrol Sgt. Mark Francis. “Avoid the area. If you live close to the area, stay inside—lock your doors.

He added: “You’ve got dozens and dozens of detectives behind me going over absolutely every tip both on social media and phone calls trying to determine where this suspect is.”

This witness told Komo News what he saw during the shooting:

Another witness,  Tari Caswell told the Skagit Valley Herald that she was in the Macy’s women’s dressing room when she heard the gunshots.

Then I heard seven or eight more, and I just stayed quiet in the dressing room because it just didn’t feel right. And it got very quiet. And then I heard a lady yelling for help, and a man came and got me and another lady, and we ran out of the store,” she said.

Gov. Jay Inslee issued a statement Friday night saying, “Tragedy has struck in Washington tonight. Our hearts are in Burlington where a shooter has taken the lives of at least four people.”

This is a developing story. We will provide updates as they become available.
