Though it’s not making headline news, many Atlantan’s are still experiencing hardships over the horrendous floods that occurred a few weeks back.

Major celebrities like Jermaine Dupri, Ludacris and T.I. have ponied up cash to help flood victims. But, one of Atlanta’s largest and longest operating family-owned clothing discounters is also stepping up to show their support by putting their money where their mouth is.

Atlanta business staple D&K Suit City teamed up with Hosea Feed The Hungry recently to give away over $100,000 in clothing to help those who were directly affected and are experiencing continued suffering from the area storms and floods that took place last month.

Jazzy of Hot 107.9 was on hand to celebrate and publicize the companies’ philanthropic efforts.

In a time where many people are simply trying to hold on as best they can, it’s incredibly dope that a long standing company like D&K Suit City would  step up to honor its customers and overall community.

Great job guys.

Now if only other companies would step up and do the same thing we’d all be a little better off. I’m just sayin’.
