Sometimes we think that Opportunity should show itself to us in the form of a big sign, like we should see a message on a billboard that says “ACT NOW!” However, more than often, opportunity comes in forms that are not easily recognized.
I remember doing radio in Tallahassee, Florida. I also remember wanting to be in Atlanta on this Radio Station so bad. There were no openings at the time, but there was an opportunity in a slighter larger city, Gainesville, Florida. While I was there, I was MISERABLE, I felt like I wasn’t growing, not knowing that everyday I was being groomed for a BIGGER opportunity. Only 3 months after being in Gainesville, I was offered a job right here at Hot 107.9!
This is proof that opportunity sometimes comes in the form of misfortune or temporary defeat.
