Up and coming rapper French Montana has one of the hottest records in the country right now with “Shot Caller” and he called DJ Drama to talk about the song.

French Montana called in before the Super Bowl and correctly predicted his hometown New York Giants would win the big game.

Montana also talked about shooting the video for the “Shot Caller” remix with Rick Ross and Diddy in Miami.

Atlanta’s own Future has been grinding for months now and his grind recently paid off when he signed a deal with L.A. Reid, becoming the first urban artist signed to the label since L.A. became chairman of the label.

Future stopped by Hot 107.9 recently and spoke to DJ Drama about the deal and as well as his ties to ATL’s legendary hip hop crew the Dungeon Family (which includes OutKast, Goodie Mob and Organized Noize). Besides his DF arm tats, most people don’t realize that Future is the cousin of Organized Noize producer Rico Wade.

Future also talked about shooting a video for “Tony Montana” in the Dominican Republic next week!

Gucci Calls Waka Flocka & DJ Drama From Jail! [EXCLUSIVE]

For all those wondering when Gucci Mane will be released from the Fulton County Jail, the wait will soon be over. Gucci called Hot 107.9′s DJ Drama and Waka Flocka Flame and told Drama he’s scheduled to be released today (July 5).

Gucci gave his word to Drama and his fans that he’s done going to jail.

“It’s getting too much for me,” said Gucci. “I can’t keep going to jail. I slipped up this time, but no more slip ups.”

Gucci and Waka also spoke to Drama about their joint album, Ferrari Boys, due out August 9.
