Police are considering child neglect charges in Michigan for two parents they say took their child to a popular playtime restaurant for his birthday party and left him there.
Employees at a Caeserland Restaurant in Warren, Michigan called police after noticing the 3-year-old child was left alone Saturday night.
Before then employees noted that a celebration was taking place for the child complete with candles, pizza and presents.
However at around 9 p.m. they noticed that the party had cleared out and the boy was left by himself at a table.
Police say the boy’s 41-year-old father and 33-year-old mother, who are separated, didn’t realize the boy was missing until the next day.
