A search warrant has revealed that 29-year-old Mario McNeill told investigators he took Shaniya Davis last week from her home in Fayetteville to a hotel in Sanford, North Carolina. McNeill was captured on hotel surveillance cameras holding the little girl in his arms on the elevator.
Police discovered hair and fibers, clothes, and a straw from McNeill’s 1997 Mitsubishi Galant.
5-year-old Shaniya Davis’s body was discovered Monday on the side of a road outside of the city.
As previously reported, Antoinette Nicole Davis, the mother of Shaniya, is facing charges of child prostitution, human trafficking, child abuse and filing a false police report.
According to arrest documents cited by local newspaper, The Fayetteville Observer, Davis “knowingly provided Shaniya Davis with the intent that she be held in “sexual servitude” and she “permitted an act of prostitution.”

This is crazy has it really come to this a young brother doing this. Im not racist in any kind of way by this statement but for years we have heard the stories of whites raping and killing young girls all over america but now black males doing this. Its already a shame that we kill and rob each other. Mario she was a innocent 5 year old girl. In her short life you never gave her a chance to live and enjoy her life you and her mother took that. im not a religious man i dont know if there is a heaven or hell but with stories like this I wonder how can there even be a god. Mario how could you have looked this girl in the eye and do this to her. My heart goes out to her family who loved this girl and those who will miss her. I hope they do not put you to death. you should should live out the rest of your life in jail to think about this.
