You don’t have to ask who he is when you see him in the streets. He’s your newest and hottest Hot 107.9 on-air personality, Brian “B High” Hightower! An Atlanta native, Brian was bred in the Atlanta Public Schools system attending Collier Heights Elementary to receiving his diploma from Benjamin E. Mays High School in 2001. Then after, attended Clark Atlanta University where he majored in Mass Communications with a concentration in radio. Brian’s career began at Radio One as an intern, sewing seeds into the industry that he loved. During this time he also held positions at the U.S. postal service by night, and the Department of Labor (Job Corps Division) by day, where he assisted young men and women to find jobs. Upon graduating from CAU in 2005, Brian was hired as a Board Operator and served as a local producer for the Warren Balentine and Al Sharpton shows. He also accumulated experience as Associate Producer for the A-Team Morning Show. Brian showed his love for his community and dedicated service by participating in many activities such as Hosea Feed the Hungry and mentoring children in public schools. After submitting air checks and doing voice over work, Bill Black showed interest in Brian’s talent as an on-air personality, and Brian “B High” Hightower has been cranking up the airways since the first time he opened up the mic!!
