Jazzy McBee
A native of Decatur, GA, experiencing family shifts and strife, but still being afforded the opportunities to find who she was, Jazzy McBee is building upon everything sent her way. She currently works for Radio One and has six years under her belt with the company. She plans to branch out into a wide array of fields in the entertainment industry, but none of them will take her away from her strong foundation built around God, family, and community.
Starting off as an intern with HOT 107.9, her hunger and hard work allotted her the chance to work her way from board operator, to her current positions as on -air personality and programming assistant for Radio One-WHTA.
Her strong love for family and community has driven her to become a part of various charities and prompted her to start her own, the Annual Jazzy McBee “Buzz in the Streetz Tour” which encourages students to stay in school, puts together pep rallies for the CRCT, and gives young people hope and a more positive direction for their lives. She is also Vice President of the non-profit organization, A Place of Motherly Love Inc., which works closely with at risk young women.
My motivation comes from family and visualizing my dreams. I see it and I feel close to it so never giving up on them keeps me motivated.
Losing her mother in 2008 reminded her not only of the precious value life holds but also of all the support and wisdom she drew from her and those she is closet to. That makes all her goals she is achieving and working towards that more important. Her success speaks to hard work but also a strong support system that anyone aiming for something bigger than what they can see needs along the way.
In a world where people desire stardom so they can stand for all things flashy, Jazzy’s aim remains to be mentioned amongst those who gave love to those around them at all times. A woman of integrity, tangible realness, and reliability stands a lot longer than those who search for fame for superficial come ups. Jazzy McBee is always aware of that so she works on the person she is just as much as the household name she continues to build on.

Favorite Dessert: Chocolate Chip cookie dough ice cream and Honeybuns!
When I’m Not on the Air: I’m relaxing with my family, shopping, getting a mani or pedi, or catching up on my favorite movies and reality shows.
Favorite Food: I am straight from the South so my #1 is Soul Food! Collard greens, baked chicken, and cornbread (and so much more…lol).
Things I Can’t Live Without: My I-phone, laptop, and music.
Favorite Artists: Trey Songz, Usher, Drake, Lil Wayne, Beyonce, Musiq Soulchild, Mary J. Blige, Jeezy, Jay-Z, T.I, and Kayne West.
