The Atlanta Thrashers played their last home game of the season against the Pittsburgh Penguins recently. While they didn't make the playoffs, rookie Evander Kane lived up to his name big time (he was named after Atlanta-born boxing legend Evander Holyfield). Click here for the video!

Atlanta Thrashers rookie Evander Kane was selected fourth overall in the NHL Entry draft, and at only 18 years of age, he is one of the youngest players on the Thrashers roster. Named after Atlanta boxing legend Evander Holyfield, it’s only right that Kane launches his career in Atlanta.
