According to TMZ, a Ruff Ryders reunion is in the works. DMX himself has said “We are all family and we’re going to come back stronger than when we left … It’s going to take the nation by storm.” Swizz Beatz, Eve, Drag On, & Murda-Mook have all signed on to do the reunion. Eve told TMZ to “expect a massive comeback.” The only ingredient missing is the LOX, they have yet to sign on; But X is very sure that will change once he speaks to them. Fans have been looking forward to the return of the crew, look no more because “X Gon Give It To Ya.”

After years of not speaking and throwing subliminal jabs at each other in their lyrics, female rappers Eve and Lil Kim have squashed their beef and you will never guess what their common bond is.

When asked about the tension amongst female rappers in the game, Eve admitted than when she started out she did not get along with Lil Kim and Foxy Brown, they would see each other and not speak. But at a recent MAC Cosmetics dinner, Eve came face to face with Lil Kim and got a chance to talk to her. With a conversation that began about their dogs, the two ladies realized they had a lot in common and their beef was squashed.

Eve says she would love to work with Lil Kim in the future, and we would all love to hear a collabo!!

Eve’s checks have stopped coming in, so now she is pointing fingers at Interscope:

In mid-January, Eve posted a brief message via Twitter confirming her departure from long-time label, Interscope, but the 31-year-old rapper has never spoken in detail about the split. However, Eve shared with VIBE the real reasons she’s currently shopping for a new label home.

“[Interscope was] stupid because they didn’t drop me at first, they [just shelved me] and dropped the ball,” said Eve. “After ‘Tambourine’, they straight up were like, ‘Umm, yeah, nah, we’re not putting out the record.’ After that I was like ‘Y’all gotta let me go. I’ve been here 11 years and you’re frontin on me?’ It got to that point,” she reveals.

Eve, who’s 1999 debut album off Interscope, Let There Be Eve… Ruff Ryders’ First Lady, says she loves the label’s chairman, Jimmy Iovine, but admits that he’s motivated by trends, no matter how much faith he’s already invested in a senior artist – “I’m not going to talk sh*t about him, but I don’t appreciate the fact that he didn’t go the extra mile for me.”

However, the main reason the Philly chick says she left disgruntled has everything to do with a pledge that was made to her before her 4th album, Flirt was meant to drop in 2007.

“They promised me the machine,” said Eve. “The machine is basically the roll out. It’s ‘Yo, when [Flirt] comes out, we’ll give you this, we’ll give you that. And that’s what made me mad. It’d be different if we didn’t have a meeting where people promised me sh*t. If they were just like ‘Oh we’re going to put the album out and see what happens,’ that would be one thing.

“But they were like ‘No, we’re making sure this happens, it’s coming out on this date.’ It was concrete. But it’s all good, everything happens how it’s supposed to, when it’s supposed to.”

Eve confesses experiencing a short surge of confusion. “I definitely went through a period of ‘Are you serious?’ I think I didn’t know how to feel. Once it finally happened, it’s like ‘Damn, so you wasn’t really fu*king with me?’ I went through a lot of different thoughts, but that only lasted for two days.”

Almost immediately after getting dropped Eve went overseas for a series of club performances off her dubstep record, “Me N My”, and reached an epiphany that even without Interscope, she was still on her right path.

Currently the rapper/actress is still taking major label offers and promises fans that her recharged album, Lip Lock, will be out this year.

“Trust me, no one’s competition for me and that sounds cocky but I seriously live in such an Eve world. And not in a crazy-everything-is-me-bubble, it’s just that I’m building an empire. I go on Twitter and people say ‘Yo, knock Nicki Minaj out of the box, but ultimately we’re all helping each other and I’m happy seeing these chicks in the game. It’s too much testosterone. When I see another female, my immediate reaction is not ‘Oh, I gotta go and get my shit right.’ I got 900 other things going on. I can’t keep worrying about what’s coming up behind me.”

“I am a fan of the fact that she’s a female MC in the game. I gotta be honest, I don’t really know many of her records. I’ve seen a few things, honestly I don’t [remember them] and I’m being really real. I don’t really know her that well,” she tells VIBE. “When she was on [the “My Chick Bad” music video] set, she was nice as sh*t. To me, if her music was dope and she would’ve been an asshole than I wouldn’t have been a fan. I’m more a fan of hers as a person.”
