Ironically, T.I.’s release coincides with the 2011 BET Hip Hop Awards this weekend in Atlanta. If you recall, T.I.’s current legal troubles began in 2007, just hours before he was scheduled to perform at the BET Hip Hop Awards.

T.I. has finally returned to a halfway house to complete his prison sentence. The ATL rapper was originally yanked out of the halfway house last week and returned to prison for allegedly engaging in talks with producers for his reality show on his tour bus.

The Associated Press has obtained a Department of Justice report that shows T.I. was sent back to federal prison after corrections officials discovered his manager and a TV producer were traveling with him on the luxury bus he used to travel from a federal prison in Arkansas to a halfway house in Atlanta.
